A Vision for a Better World—Through the Wisdom Horses Teach

We’re Paula and Jack Curtis, lifelong horsemen passionate about deepening the connection between horses and people. For over 30 years, we’ve been dedicated to teaching, training, and sharing the lessons horses offer—both in the saddle and in life.

The Art Of The Horseman Online Horse Fair was created to bring these transformative lessons to a global audience. Now in its 7th year, the Fair has grown into a worldwide movement, and this year featuring 150+ presentations from 50+ world-class trainers and bringing together thousands of equestrians eager to learn, connect, and grow.

Paula Curtis believes riding is more than technique—it’s a journey of connection, awareness, and growth. She helps riders understand how their energy, emotions, and mindset shape their partnership with their horse.

“For me, riding is about feel, communication, and trust,” Paula says. “When you truly understand your horse, you unlock new possibilities.”

With a heart-centered approach, Paula empowers riders to cultivate deeper partnerships, build confidence, and embrace the lessons horses offer—both in and out of the saddle.

Jack Curtis blends quality horsemanship, classical dressage, and centered riding to help riders and their horses develop trust, connection, and authentic communication. With a lifetime of experience starting horses and working across disciplines, Jack’s approach honors each horse’s individuality and unique challenges.

“Every horse has something to teach us if we’re willing to listen,” Jack says. “When we work with the horse’s mind first, the body follows.”

Since 1994, Jack has shared his expertise through lessons, clinics, and demonstrations across the U.S., helping riders cultivate presence, emotional regulation, and clear communication. His goal is to guide each rider on a journey of self-discovery and growth, unlocking new possibilities both in and out of the saddle.

Both Paula and Jack have spent their entire professional careers teaching and training. They have owned three training facilities, and have found a home just outside of Jamestown, TN.

Their passion has always been helping people understand horses and empowering them to reach their goals while coaching them at clinics, lessons, shows, and in their online programs.
