Presenter Bio Lori Perez

Lori has practiced clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture for 30 years. Practitioner of Animal TCM and Acupressure for over 10 years with a focus on the rehabilitation of rescued equines in need of behavioral regulation. A lifelong student of the Healing Arts she holds a Master of Science Degree in East Asian and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College, San Diego Campus. Colorado State Licensed and Nationally Board Certified. Master of The 8 Branches of TCM and Micro-current electro therapies. Certified 4-level Equine Assisted Activities facilitator. Lori has studied directly with the Founders of Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Resources, Nancy Zidonis and Amy Snow. Together they continue the commitment to support access and best practices in Animal TCM. Lori and her partner are owners of Crowning Touch Clinics, Crowning Touch Healing Arts Center, Parker CO and CT at The Ranch / Coaching through Horses in Black Forest, CO. Crowning Touch Clinics has been awarded and acknowledged as a Center of Excellence specializing in Lifestyle Coaching.

Chinese Medicine & Equine Acupressure

Learn the introductory foundations of equine acupressure and how it can benefit your horse's health and well-being as well as deepen and expand your bond. Begin to understand the basic tenets of this ancient form of health and the application of its foundational principles. Acupressure can address physical as well as emotional issues.



DAY 2

Equine Acupressure Case Studies

In this second video of our 2 part series, we will demonstrate the use of acupressure in specific case studies. You will understand how to quickly assess the horse and determine which acu-points on the bladder meridian would be most appropriate to use in an acupressure session for support.
