Presenter Bio Don Jessop

I’m Don Jessop, author of the book “Leadership and Horses” and creator of the Mastery Horsemanship program and the Horse Mastery Group. I’ve dedicated my adult life, more than twenty years now, to training people to understand horse behavior and excel with their equine partners. I’ve been fortunate to study with the world's best trainers inside and outside the horse industry. Including Tony Robbins (peak performance coach), T-Have Ekar (secrets of the millionaire mind), Lynne Eisenhardt (master dolphin trainer), Ceasar Millan (dog trainer), Rachel Jessop (extraordinary horsewoman), Pat and Linda Parelli for twelve years, John Lyons, Ray Hunt and more. As a result, students who work with me have the opportunity to embrace mastery concepts from the earliest of stages in their horsemanship to the pinnacle of performance, whether that’s dressage, reining, cow working, trail riding, difficult horse training, and more. I’m pleased and hopeful to know my clients personally and hope to know you as well. Thanks for the invitation to be a part of your life story.

Because Of The Horse...

I see the depths of the human spirit. My calling has always been to teach, to understand, to support horses and horse loving people. Because of the horse I can do that and I’m inspired every day by what I see. I see uncommon passion in people. I see problem solving skills rise to the occasion. I see patience and love pouring out, and I see connections to deeper living that I feel we all hope to enjoy.

DAY 1

★ Clockwork Boundaries - How Masters Use Micro-Maneuvering To Communicate Leadership

In this video, you'll learn and be inspired to practice something we call clockwork boundaries. Great horsemen and horsewomen around the world effectively communicate with their horses through micro maneuvering. That means you earn the ability to guide and direct the horse to and from any position. And as it turns out. Every maneuver in horsemanship is powered by positions. Standing still for saddling, washing, trimming, mounting... all positional training. Riding and resetting your straightness or advancing to upper-level lateral work and flying lead changes... all positional training. The ability to ask for micro-maneuvers is the power of the master trainers, and you can learn it here in this fun video about clockwork boundaries.

DAY 2

Clockwork Boundaries in Real Life - How Masters Use Micro-Maneuvering To Communicate Leadership

In this video, you'll see how practice turns practical. Great trainers know how to guide a horse by positioning them and reinforcing the positions with signals and rewards. Watch the cycle of clockwork boundaries training and how it applies to spooking, mounting, lateral movements, fun ground games, and real-life situations with your horse. This video will inspire you to practice your leadership with your horse on the ground and, ultimately in the saddle.
